Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Set Hunter iPhone app or this website. By using either, you agree to them.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Set Hunter on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not use Set Hunter for anything unlawful.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or break the service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
3. Your content
Your collection data belongs to you. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you would not want to lose.
4. Valuations
Any card values shown in the app are estimates provided for general information. They are not appraisals, offers, or financial advice, and they may be inaccurate or out of date. Do not rely on them for buying, selling, or insuring cards.
5. No affiliation
Set Hunter is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., The Pokémon Company, or any card manufacturer or grading service. All trademarks and card names remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Availability
Set Hunter is not yet released. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Set Hunter. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
10. App Store terms
These terms apply to Set Hunter as downloaded from the Apple App Store.
- a. This agreement is with us, not Apple. These terms are between you and Set Hunter Ltd only. Apple is not a party to them. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Set Hunter and its content.
- b. What your licence covers. Your licence to use Set Hunter is non-transferable and limited to use on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
- c. Support. We are solely responsible for providing support for Set Hunter. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Support requests go to info@sethunterapp.com.
- d. Warranty. We are solely responsible for any warranties, whether express or implied, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If Set Hunter fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Set Hunter. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- e. Claims about the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to Set Hunter or your possession or use of it. This includes product liability claims, any claim that Set Hunter fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- f. Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that Set Hunter or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- g. Legal compliance. By using Set Hunter you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- h. Third party terms. You must comply with any applicable third party terms of agreement when using Set Hunter — for example, your wireless data plan.
- i. Apple can enforce these terms. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms. On your acceptance of them, Apple has the right — and is deemed to have accepted the right — to enforce these terms against you as a third party beneficiary.
